Do you supply product samples?

Yes, we supply product samples.  Click here to order samples.  They are charged at $2.00 each (includes postage).  Sample orders are sent using Australia Post and are despatched the business day after you place your sample order. 
Sample purchases are fully refunded when you place your order.  This means if you order 3 different samples, the total cost is $6.00.  When you place your order for your blinds you automatically receive a $6.00 discount.

Cheapa-Blinds employ the services of local sheltered workshops to hand cut each product sample. The proceeds of this service are committed to the relevant workshops. 


 


What type of product warranty do you have?

Cheapa-Blinds guarantees all its blinds for a period of 24 months. 
If you discover what you believe is a product defect within the warranty period, please contact our Support Centre. 
Cheapa-Blinds will replace the blinds at its own expense (excluding delivery) only after sighting an original receipt to verify that the day the claim is made is within the guarantee period. 
The guarantee only covers blinds that have been properly maintained and cleaned.  Please refer to the Care, Cleaning and Maintenance guide for a comprehensive guide to caring for you blinds. 
The guarantee does not cover blinds that have been mistreated or are defective due to poor maintenance or if alterations to the width or drop length of the blinds have been made by persons unauthorised by Cheapa-Blinds.

Cheapa-blinds' is an online retail blind store, supplying goods Australia wide by delivery only, direct from our Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne Australian Warehouses.  Pick up is not available from warehouses. 
To view the blinds browse our website then order samples to get a close up look.
Please note:  On-site measuring, quoting and installation services are not available.

 


How accurate are the colour samples that are shown on the Website?

We make every reasonable effort to ensure the colours shown on our website accurately match our blinds.  However, there may be some differences in actual colours due to differences in computer systems and monitors.  Some textures may not be clearly visible. 
Natural products like wood and bamboo have a natural character and may have subtle colour differences. 
For a better colour match please order samples. 
In addition, it is recommended that you order all your blinds of a given colour at the same time as there can be minor variations between dye lots.

The blind will be fitted inside the window opening so that the headrail is not protruding out of the window opening at all. See specific product pages under Specifications for exact depth requirements needed to fit the blind inside the window frame.  Refer to the Measuring Guide.

My window/door is wider than 2400mm and i would like to buy a ready made blind. What do i do?

 The maximum width of a Ready Made Blind is 2400mm (with one exception being the Cordless Cellular Shades  maximum width 1800mm).  For windows/doors that are wider, an option is that two or more blinds be placed in the window/door.
Please note: This is purely a personal decison and very commonly used application.

A small gap of around 7mm - 10mm between each blind is unavoidable due to the bracketing systems.  Exceptions to this are the Cordless Cellular Shades and the 25mm Aluminium Venetian Blinds where these blinds able to be butted up together as the brackets go along the top of the rail head and not at the ends.

Am i able to use the window measurements from my house plans?

Window measurements from house plans are not recommended. There are many factors to take into consideration when measuring for blinds e.g. reveal or face fit (refer to the Measuring Guide section), depth of window sill, architraves, tiles, door handles etc. You can acquire an estimate price using the measurements from house plans but we recommend measuring each window individually to ensure accuracy.

Another point to take into consideration builders, architects and window manufacturers normally show window sizes drop before width ie: 2100d x 1500w. Blind industry standard works the opposite to builders, you must always remember to record your measurements width before drop ie: 1500w x 2100d when measuring windows for blinds.

If you find that your Cheapa-Blinds order has been incorrectly filled or is defective, please contact us immediately so we can replace the blind at no cost to you. 
Ready made blinds bought from stock may be exchanged if they are returned within 7 days of purchase in the original, unopened and undamaged packaging, in like-new condition and accompanied by a receipt.  Delivery charges apply.  Items that have been customised or resized cannot be returned. 
Custom Made blinds are made to fit your window after you place an order.  Each blind is manufactured to your unique measurements and specifications.  For this reason we are only able to accept returns on orders that are incorrectly filled by us or are defective.
